BATON ROUGE, La. — Southern University head coach Teremine White has unveiled the Jaguars' 2026 indoor and outdoor track and field schedule, featuring 14 total meets across both seasons, including the return of the SWAC Outdoor Championship to A.W. Mumford Stadium.
 
The Jaguars open the indoor campaign with back-to-back weekends at LSU, beginning with the LSU Purple Tiger on January 16 followed by the LSU Bayou Bengal on January 23. That same weekend, a select group of athletes will compete at Clemson's Orange and Purple Invitational from January 23–24. Southern closes out January at the Robert Platt Invitational in Houston on January 30–31.
 
February brings two final tune-ups in Birmingham as Southern competes in the UAB Green and Gold Invite on February 6 and the UAB Invite on February 7. The Jaguars will return to the Birmingham CrossPlex later in the month for the SWAC Indoor Championship, set for February 21–22.
 
The outdoor season opens in Lafayette at the Louisiana Classic on March 20–21 before Southern heads to Natchitoches for the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational on March 28. April begins with the team's lone out-of-state regular season trip,  a three-day appearance at the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Texas State from April 2–4.
 
Southern then returns home to host the Pelican Relays inside A.W. Mumford Stadium on April 10–11. The Jaguars continue competition with the Strawberry Relays in Hammond on April 18 before wrapping up the regular season at the LSU Alumni Gold on April 25.
 
Postseason action begins with Southern hosting the SWAC Outdoor Championships from May 10–12 at A.W. Mumford Stadium. Qualifiers will advance to the NCAA First Rounds at Kentucky from May 27–30, with the season culminating at the NCAA Championships at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, June 10–13.
