Southern Drops Their Home Opener To University of Louisiana Monroe

BATON ROUGE, LA – Southern University got off to a slow start in their home opener against University of Louisiana Monroe dropping their second game of the young season. Final score was 2-0.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Warhawks went on the attack early in the first half picking a goal with in the first fifteen minutes of the contest.
  • ULM and Southern. battled back-and-forth to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
  • The Warhawks would get one more goal in the second half at the 74th minute.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
  • University of Louisiana Monroe would have a 12-3 advantage on shots.
  • The Warhawks would had the advantage on shots on goal at 7-1.
