HOW IT HAPPENED
- SU got off to a fast start picking up runs in six innings
- Jags held a hot Grambling team to only four runs off eight hits.
- Harris picked up his second win of the season, pitching 2.1 innings seeing 10 batters only giving up three hits on the day. Davis picked up his third save of the season, seeing four batters giving up no runs or hits on the day.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Southern finished the night with sixteen hits and GSU finished the night with eight hits.
- Southern finished the game with two errors, while Grambling State finished the game with one error.
- Southern left thirteen runners on base, while GSU left ten.
- Southern struck out eight times and Grambling State struck out five times.
- Tyeler Hawkins picked up the Jags first run of the day off a single to right field by Ryan Ollison.
- Nine different Jaguars batters recorded a hit. Khyle Radcliffe, KJ White, Hawkins led the Jags with three hits each, while Dominic Joseph added two more hots on the day. Kameron Byrd, Dylan Jones, Jacoby Radcliffe, Logan Sanders and Ollison finish the day with one hit each.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SU racked up 10 RBI's off four hits including a Grand Slam by Ryan Ollison in the top of the ninth inning.
- GSU scored 12 runs off eighteen hits on the day.
- Davis pitched one inning seeing 6 batters, striking out two and giving up two runs off three hits. Burkett II pitched the ten innings seeing four batters, giving up only one hit to record his third save of the season.

- Southern finished the night with three errors, while Grambling State finished the night with only one error each.
- Southern left sixteen runners on base, while GSU left twelve.

- Khyle Radcliffe picked up the Jaguars first runs in game 2, off a two run homer by Jalon Mack over the center field wall.
