• The Jags jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning off a three run Homer by Hawkins. 

• Southern held the Tigers to only 4 hits on the night.

•  Harris picked up his first win of the season pitching four innings giving up five runs off four hits after throwing 76 pitches. Burkett II picked up his third save of the season throwing 27 pitched in two innings giving no hits or runs. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Southern finished the day with eleven hits and LSU finished with four hits.

• Southern finished the night with two errors, while LSU finished with three errors on the night.

• Southern left seven runners on base, while LSU left twelve.

• Southern finished the night with twelve strike outs, while LSU finished with nine.

•  Logan Sanders and KJ White scored the Jaguars first runs of the night off a three-run homer across the left field wall by Hawkins.

• Six different Jaguars batters recorded a hit on the night. Tyeler Hawkins finished the day with three hits off six at bats and three RBI's, while Jalon Mack, Kameron Byrd and White finished the night with two hits each. Ryan Ollison and Donny Sandifer finished with one hit each.
