• The Jags jumped out to a 14-2 lead in the first three innings. 

• Southern gets three home runs on the day including a Grand Jalon Mack over the centerfield wall.

•  Semien picked up his first win of the season pitching three innings giving up seven runs off four hits. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Southern finished the day with sixteen hits and Prairie View finished with ten hits.

• Southern finished the night with three errors, while Prairie View finished with two errors on the night.

• Southern left six runners on base, while Prairie View left seven.

• Both Southern and Praire View finished the day with six strike outs.

•  Hawkins picked up the Jags first run of the day off a single down the left field line by Kameron Byrd.

• Nine different Jaguars batters recorded a hit on the night. Tyeler Hawkins finished the day with four off five at bats and six RBI's, while Jalon Mack finished the night with three hits. Dominic Joseph and Jacoby Radcliffe added two more hits for the Jaguars. Khyle Radcliffe, Kameron Byrd, Ryan OllisonMichael Latulas and KJ White finished with one hit each. 

UP NEXT
The Jaguars will be back in action on Monday night when they travel across town to take on the defending national champions LSU Tigers. First pitch is slated at 6 PM.
