HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Jags jumped out to a 7-0 lead at the end of the first inning. 

• Southern gets three home runs on the day led by Tyeler Hawkins with two and Kameron Byrd with one.

• Prosper picked up his first win of the season pitching two innings giving up three runs off four hits. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Southern finished the day with thirteen hits and Prairie View finished with eleven hits.

• Southern finished the night with four errors, while Prairie View finished with three errors on the night.

• Southern left seven runners on base, while Prairie View left six.

• Both Southern struck out seven times and Prairie View struck out five times.

•  Hawkins picked up the Jags first run of the day off a single home run.

• Eight different Jaguars batters recorded a hit on the night. KJ White finished the day with four off five at bats and four RBI's, while Tyeler Hawkins and Kameron Byrd finished the night with two hits each. Khyle Radcliffe, Jalon Mack, Ryan Ollison, Dylan Jones and Dominic Joseph finished with one hit each.
