- UAPB scored two runs in three differnt inning but could hold the Jags in the ninth inning.
- Lasseigne pitched one inning seeing 5 batters giving up two runs off two hits.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Southern and Pine Bluff finished with 10 hits each.
- Southern finished the game with two errors, while Arkansas Pine Bluff finished the game with no errors.
- Southern left eight runners on base, while UAPB left seven.
- Southern struck out six times and Arkansas Pine Bluff struck five times.
- Jaylen Armstrong picked up the Jags first run of the day off Gustavo Nava Sanchez being walked by the UAPB pitcher. Jah'li Hendricks, Armstrong and Burgos scored two runs each, while Khyle Radcliffe scored one run on the day.
- Six different Jaguars batters recorded a hit. Nava Sanchez led the Jags with three hits, while Burgos and Jonathan Evans finish with two hits each. Armstrong, Radcliffe and Tabb finished the day with one hit each.
