HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southern picked up two runs in the fifth inning and three runs in the eighth inning.
- Lafayette picked up seven runs in the third inning to put the game out of reach for the Jaguars.
- Fidanza pitched three innings seeing 12 batters and giving up nine runs and off seven hits.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Southern finished the night with nine hits and ULL finished the night with nine hits.
- Southern finished the game with two errors, while Lafayette finished the game with no errors.
- Southern left seven runners on base, while ULL left five.
- Southern struck out eight times and Lafayette struck seven times.
- Caleb Tart and Hunter Tabb picked up the Jags first runs of the day off JJ Rollon double to the right center wall. Nathaniel Lai, Jalon Mack, Ryan Ollison, Tabb and Tart scored one run each.
- Six different Jaguars batters recorded a hit. Mack, Tart and Khyle Radcliffe led SU with two hits, while Lai, Rollon and Tabb finish the day with one hit each.

The Jaguars will be back action this weekend as they travel to Pine Bluff, Arkansas to take on University of Arkansas -Pine Bluff for a three game series. Friday, April 28th at 3 PM, Saturday, April 29th at 2 Pm and Sunday, April 30th at 1 PM.
