- Southern finished the night with nine hits and TSU finished the night with thirteen hits.
- Southern finished the game with three errors, while Texas Southern finished the game with five errors.
- Southern left nine runners on base, while TSU left twelve.
- Southern struck out twelve times and Texas Southern struck nineteen times.
- Jalon Mack picked up the Jags first run of the day off Justin Wiley triple to the center field wall. Mack led the Jaguars with three runs on the day, while Hunter Tabb score two runs. Jaylen Armstrong, O'Neill Burgos, JJ Rollon, Nathaniel Lai, Nava Sanchez and Wiley scored one run each.
- six different Jaguars batters recorded a hit. Armstrong, Mack and Nava Sanchez led SU with two hits, while Tabb, Wiley and Khyle Radcliffe finished the day with one run each.
