BATON ROUGE, LA --  Aleighyah Fontenot scored a season-high 22 points to lead the Jaguars over Oklahoma on Friday afternoon to pick up their second win of the season.  Final score was 79-70.

HOW IT HAPPENED

- Jaguars went 28-of-61 shooting from the field (45.9 percent) and 8-of-19 from 3PT (42.1 percent).
- SU was led by Fontenot (8-11 FG, 6-9 3PT) finished the day with 22 points, four rebounds and three assists.
-  Genovea Johnson (6-11 FG, 6-8 FT) added 18 points in her second game back for the Jags. Sirviva Legions ( 2-5 FG, 4-4 FT) and Tionna Lidge ( 3-5 FG, 2-3 FT)  chipped in eight points each.
- All ten Jaguars played scored in the contest with two scoring in double digits. 
- OU shot 24-of-55 from the field (43.6 percent) and 9-of-23 from 3PT (39.1 percent). 
- Southern pulled down 31 rebounds, including 26 on the defensive side of the glass.
- The Lady Sooners registered 42 rebounds, with 30 coming on the defensive end. 
- The Jaguars also went 15-for-19 from the free-throw line. 
- The Lady Sooners sank 13-of-24 from the charity stripe.
- Southern University finished the night with 13 steals and 14 assists.
- Oklahoma University came away with nine steals and 17 assists.
