HOW IT HAPPENED
- UC San Diago used a couple of runs in the first set to claim a 15-25 victory.
- Southern had the score tied 4-4 early in the second set. UCSD had a 10 point, and six point runs to take the set 8-25.
- The Tritons continued to have big runs against the Lady Jaguars. Southern fell 14-25 in the final set.

- Southern had three aces compared to five by UCSD
- Southern had three blocks while the Tritons had seven
