Soccer Sets Two Records, Advances to Semifinals of SWAC Tournament

PRAIRIE VIEW, TX – The three Southern University Lady Jaguar all-conference selections made an impact in the dismantling of Arkansas-Pine Bluff 3-1 on Thursday night in Prairie View, Texas. First team selections Lonnie Mulligan and Cordney Armstrong scored or assisted on two goals. Second team selection, Sydney Bellamy had seven saves in the net.

The win set two separate Southern records, the nine wins are most in a single season and Coach Jeremy Fontenot ties former coach John Knighten with the most wins by a coach in school history at 28.
