BATON ROUGE, LA - Southern University soccer team falls behind early against North Dakota and wasn't able to recover dropping their second game of the season. The result was an 7-0 defeat at home.
SU (1-2) was outshot 26-10,
Cordney Armstrong led the Lady Jaguars with three shots on goal. Chioma Eriken recorded seven saves for the Lady Jaguars in 67 minutes of play. Sydney Bellamy added five more saves in twenty-two minutes of play.
The Fighting Hawks scored three goals in the first half, with the first one coming within the first six minutes of the contest. Baily McNitt led North Dakota with 2 goals in the second half.

The Lady Jaguars will be back in action on Tuesday August 31, against the Lady Cowgirls of McNeese State University. Game is slated to start at 7 PM in Lake Charles, La.
