DENTON, TEXAS - Southern University soccer team got all they can handle and more from North Texas Friday evening. The result was an 7-0 defeat to open the 2021 season on the road.

SU was outshot 43-0, Chioma Eriken recorded 15 saves for the Lady Jaguars in 75 minutes of play. Sydney Bellamy added two more saves.

The Mean Green scored three goals in the first half, with the first one coming within the first six minutes of the contest. Madison Drenowatz led North Texas with 2 goals in the second half.

UP NEXT
The Lady Jaguars will be back in action on Sunday, August 22nd against LSU-A in Jaguar Park. Game is slated to start at 1 PM.
