BATON ROUGE, LA. -- After 436 days, the Southern University volleyball team took the court as they fell in straight sets (25-15, 25-21, 25-20) to the University of Arkansas at Pine-Bluff in its home season opener at Clifford Seymour Gymnasium.
The Jaguars were led by senior
Imani Litz with ten kills while
Delaine Fulton added five more kills for the Jaguars, while the team produced a total of 29 kills.
Princess Stark finished with 19 assists. Litz, Stark, and
Jada Carter each had an ace in the loss.

The Jaguars will return to action today, for another home match up against conference and in-state rival Grambling State University. First serve is set for 6:00 pm at Clifford Seymour Gym.
