BATON ROUGE, LA. -- This Week in Southern University Athletics – November 8th - November 14th.
The Southern Jaguars volleyball team host Grambling State on Monday along with women's basketball host LSU-Alexandria for an exhibition game. Tuesday, Jaguar basketball travel to Louisville, Kentucky to open their season against the University of Louisville. On Thursday, women's basketball opens regular season play in College Station, Texas against Texas A&M. Also on Thursday, SU volleyball complete regular season play against Alcorn State. On Friday, Jaguar bowling travel to Jackson, Mississippi for the weekend to compete in the Sonic Boom Classic. The men's basketball continue play on Saturday with a contest against Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Jaguar football team closeout their four-game home slate against Jackson State on Saturday with a 6:05 kick.
