BATON ROUGE, LA – The Southern University Jaguars (4-4, 3-2) play host to Florida A&M University (6-2, 4-1) to continue Southwestern Athletic Conference play on Saturday, November 6
th at A.W. Mumford Stadium, kick set for 6:05 p.m.
The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN+. Florida A&M owns a 34-24-1 advantage in the series with Southern, which dates back to November 19, 1949. In the last meeting, FAMU came away with the 27-21 victory on September 21, 2019.

We invite the fans out for our fifth installment of Rolling with Rollins "Jaguar Walk" which will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. Jaguar Nation, lets continue to build on this new tradition here on The Bluff. The team will be led by the cheerleaders as they make their way from the Southern Lab campus towards Championship Plaza before entering A.W. Mumford Stadium.

The Jaguars are averaging 217.5 yards per game on the ground so far this season which gives the Jags the number one rushing offense in the SWAC. SU is led in rushing by Kobe Dillion who is averaging 90 yards per game on a total of 77 carries.
Devon Benn is second on the team in rushing averaging 53.1 yards a game.
Defense Jags, Defense
Ray Anderson is the team's leading tackler with 48 to go along with his seven tackles for loss and three sacks. Safety
Chase Foster is second on the team in tackles with 43, and he also has three interceptions on the season.
Jordan Lewis continues his pursuit to leave his name in the national record books for total sacks. He now has 33 sacks along with being the FCS leader in sacks per game (0.94).
Golden Leg
Luke Jackson recorded a season high 47-yard field goal for the Jaguars against Alcorn State to lift them to a 38-35 victory on last weekend. Jackson, a 5-9 175-pound place kicker has shown to be a true asset for the Jaguars. In six games this season, Jackson has made 5 out of 8 of his field goal trys, including hitting from 43, 45 and the 47-yard game winning kick against Alcorn. Jackson is a freshman kicker from Bensalem, PA and played high school at Conwell Catholic High School.
