BATON ROUGE, LA. – The Lady Jaguars ' dominated the Delta Devilettes from start to finish by a score of 5-1 Friday afternoon at Jaguar Park.
Mississippi valley jumped out on the Lady Jaguars and scored a goal in the first two minutes of contest but the Jaguars answered within the next seven minutes of the game scoring three goals within a four minute span in the first half.
Aniya Clark, Giftee Tor and Amya Webb scored in the first half for the Jags. SU outshot MVSU 18-2 in the first half with 11 shots on goal.
In the second half the Lady Jags picked up right back where they left off dominating the Delta Devilettes by out shooting them 16-2 led by
Cordney Armstrong and Alyssa Terry scoring the final two goals of the game.
Alyssa Terry led the way with five shots along with Victoria Thomas, Raven Bradley, Armstrong and Clark all had four shots on each. Tor picked up three shots in forty-three minutes of play. Krystal Elie and Webb finished the day with two shots each.
Aniya Clark, Giftee Tor, Amya Webb, Cordney Armstrong and Alyssa Terry added one goal each for the Lady Jags.
In total the Lady Jaguars had a total of 34 shots compared the 4 by the Delta Devilettes. Overall, 14 different Southern players had a shot in the game.
Beatriz Krerreis led the way for Mississippi Valley with three shots with two on goal.

The Lady Jaguars will be back in action on Sunday, October 10th at 3 PM against Alcorn State for Senior Night in Jaguar park.
