BATON ROUGE, LA – The Southern University Jaguars (3-4, 2-2) play host to Alcorn State University (5-2, 4-0) to continue Southwestern Athletic Conference play on Saturday, October 30th at A.W. Mumford Stadium, kick set for 6:05 p.m.
The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN+. Alcorn owns a 40-27-2 advantage in the series with Southern, which dates back to September 29, 1951. The last meeting SU came away with the victory with the 2-0 victory as the Braves opted out of the spring season.

We invite the fans out for our fourth installment of Rolling with Rollins "Jaguar Walk" which will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. Jaguar Nation, its Homecoming, lets continue to build on this new tradition here on The Bluff. The team will be led by the cheerleaders as they make their way from the Southern Lab campus towards Championship Plaza before entering A.W. Mumford Stadium.

The Jaguars are averaging 220.9 yards per game on the ground so far this season which gives the Jags the number one rushing offense in the SWAC. SU is led in rushing by Kobe Dillion who is averaging 96 yards per game on a total of 62 carries.
Devon Benn is second on the team in rushing averaging 58.5 yards a game.
Defense Jags, Defense
Ray Anderson is the team's leading tackler with 37 to go along with his three tackles for loss and two sacks. Safety
Chase Foster is second on the team in tackles with 34, and he also has three interceptions on the season.
Jordan Lewis continues his pursuit to leave his name in the national record books for total sacks. He now has 33 sacks along with being the FCS leader in sacks per game (0.94).
Defensive Stopper
Ray Anderson set a season high in tackles (9) against Prairie View along with a interception. Anderson has been a staple in the Jaguars defense this season being the team's leading tackler. In six games this season, Anderson has 37 total tackles two sacks and an interception, not to mention his three tackles for loss and forced fumble that he also recovered. Anderson is a Graduate Senior linebacker and business major from Youngstown, Ohio. He began his collegiate career at Youngstown State before making the move to Baton Rouge.
