Grambling, LA - Southern University women's soccer team got all they can handle and more from Grambling Sunday afternoon. The result was an 6-0 defeat on the road in front of 109 fans at the GSU Soccer Complex.
SU was outshot 20-3,
Chioma Eriken recorded 9 saves for the Lady Jaguars in 90 minutes of play. Krystal Elie finished the day with one shot, along with Amya Webb with two shots. All three shots were in the first half of play.
The Lady Tigers scored three goals in the first half, with the first one coming within the first three minutes of the contest. GSU had six different players score goals on the day, led by Imogen Fowler with three shots on goal.
UP NEXT
The Lady Jaguars will be back in action on Friday, October 8th against Mississippi Valley at 6PM and on Sunday, October 10th at 3 PM against Alcorn State for Senior Night. Both games will be played in Jaguar park.
