JACKSON, MS – The Southern University Lady Jaguars closed out the season in a heavy weight bout with Jackson State battling back and forth all night. Final score 0-0 at JSU Soccer Field on the campus of Jackson State University.

The Lady Jaguars was outshot 23-8. SU and JSU battled back and forth for a 110-minutes led by the Lady Jaguars defense. Aniya Clark finished the night strong with five shots, three on goal. Victoria Thomas had two shots with one on goal and Surya Nero added one shot. Goalie Chioma Eriken recorded 13 saves for the Lady Jaguars in 110-minutes of play.

It was a complete defensive battle in the first overtime with either team getting off any shots. JSU got off two shots in the second overtime, SU goalie was their to get the saves to close out the game.

The Lady Jaguars will be preparing for the 2021 SWAC Women's Soccer Tournament in Prairie View, Texas.
