BATON ROUGE, LA – The Southern University Jaguars (3-3, 2-1) play host to Prairie View A&M University (5-1, 4-0) to continue Southwestern Athletic Conference play for Homecoming on Saturday, October 23rd at A.W. Mumford Stadium, kick set for 6:05 p.m.
The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN+. Southern owns a 50-19 advantage in the series with PVAMU, which dates back to November 26, 1949. The last meeting SU came away with the victory with the score being 34-28 on October 12, 2019.

We invite the fans out for our third installment of Rolling with Rollins "Jaguar Walk" which will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. Jaguar Nation, its Homecoming, lets continue to build on this new tradition here on The Bluff. The team will be led by the cheerleaders as they make their way from the Southern Lab campus towards Championship Plaza before entering A.W. Mumford Stadium.

The Jaguars are averaging 236 yards per game on the ground so far this season which gives the Jags the number one rushing offense in the SWAC. SU is led in rushing by
Kobe Dillon who is averaging 104 yards per game on a total of 50 carries.
Devon Benn is second on the team in rushing averaging 60.67 yards a game.
Defense Jags, Defense
Ray Anderson is the team's leading tackler with 28 to go along with his three tackles for loss and two sacks. Safety
Chase Foster had a career performance against UAPB, he is now the team's leader in interceptions with three added by his 27 total tackles on the season.
Jordan Lewis continues his pursuit to leave his name in the national record books for total sacks. He now has 33 sacks along with being the FCS leader in sacks per game (0.94).
Run Young Man Run
Kobe Dillon had a record setting performance on last week against Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
Dillon had 14 carries for 268 and three scores. With that performance
Dillon broke the schools single game rushing record that was previously held by the SWACs All-Time leading rusher and former Jaguar standout, Leonard Tillery.
In five games this season,
Dillon has rushed for 522 yards on 50 carries with four rushing scores which makes him the team's leading rusher averaging 104 yards a game.
Dillon is a freshman running back from Ferriday, LA. He originally came to "The Bluff" as a quarterback before finding his true calling as a ball carrier.
