BATON ROUGE, LA—The Southern University Jaguars (3-10, 2-5) fell to Florida A&M, losing three straight sets in the final match of the FAMU cluster. (18-25, 19-25, 13-25)
Sets one and two were tough battles unlike set three where the Rattlers held SU to only 13 points.
The Jaguars were led by
Xaria Taylor with 8 kills followed by
Elise Doomes with nine.
Kyla Carrier led the team in assists with 14. Freshman
Trenity Lundy led the Jaguars in digs with 9.
Despite going 1-2 during the cluster, The Jaguars were able to complete some individual milestones.
Nya Campbell,
Elise Doomes &
Kendall Dutton all surpass the 100 kill's plateau.
Ryleigh Taylor now has 225 assists on the season and
Kyla Carrier has 186.

The Jaguars travel to Lorman, Mississippi to continue conference play against Alcorn State on Thursday. First serve set for 6:30 p.m.
