Southern Defeats Northwestern State in Extra Innings 8-7 at Home

Larry Barabino goes 2-0 on the season throwing 17 pitches with 11 strikes. The Jaguars scoring came from Hudson and Porter with two runs each and Wright, Jenkins, Dorris, and Hendricks with one run each.

Southern will take on the Tulane Green Wave for a weekend series. The Jags will travel to New Orleans on Friday and Sunday. Saturday the Green Wave will travel to Baton Rouge. Game 1 is set for 6:30 PM at Turchin Stadium, Game 2 is set for 2 PM at Lee Hines Field and Game 3 is set for 1 PM at Turchin Stadium.
