Thibodaux, LA. -- Southern drops Sunday afternoon game to Arkansas-Little Rock 7-4 at the Ray E. Didier Field on the campus of Nicholls State University.
The Jaguars picked up four runs off five hits on the night. SU picks up its first run of the day from
Hampton Hudson in the second inning along with
Michael Wright and
Mykel Page racing across home plate to tie the game up 3-3 in the top of the second inning.
"Our guys are going to fight. That's never going to be a problem" said
Kerrick Jackson. "We have to be smarter baseball players."
Wilhelm Allen goes 1-3 on the season throwing 36 pitches with 23 strikes and gave up three runs. The Jaguars scoring came from
Brandon Green, Page, Hudson and Wright with one run each.
SU is 2-4 on the season

Southern will travel to Lubbock, Texas to take on the Fifth-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders on the Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park for a midweek series on Tuesday at 2 p.m. and Wednesday at 1 p.m. Both games will be on TexasTech.TV.
