Southern University is proud to announce 34 signees after the first day of eh early signing period of National Letters of Intent for football.

"I am extremely pleased with what my staff, along with myself, has been able to come up with in such a short period of time", says "Stump" Mitchell, SU's first year head coach.

"We are basically talking a three week span, and my coaches worked their tails off to get this done", Mitchell added.
