Final Stats

Grambling, LA -- In game two, of the day, Jackson State University controlled the ball and the tempo for much of the 90 minutes of play. With all the scoring coming in the first half of play, the Lady Tigers found themselves in the driver's seat and were not looking to relinquish control.

Viola Howard and Sarah Linares each scored two goals with Christine Walker adding another in the game while Howard and Walker each had an assist. Howard scored the first and last goals of the contest while assisting on Walker's score. The lone score for Southern came via Jamicka Pugh at the 30:19 mark of the first period.
