Southern University

Brent is in his first year as Director of Sports Medicine at Southern University. He came from Centenary College where he was the Head Athletic Trainer for three years and assistant athletic trainer for one year. 

He has been in the profession for over 35 years and has covered sports from the high school to the professional levels, also working with the Rock ‘n Roll Marathon and the Run Disney groups. Before coming to Shreveport, Brent spent the last three years in South Mississippi working for different outreach programs covering sports.

Originally from Pennsylvania, He attended York College of Pennsylvania and West Chester University. He is a certified athletic trainer and current member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. He has a son, Benjamin, and a daughter, Chapin.
