Southern University

Joseph McWilliams is in his first season as a Defensive Graduate Assistant working with the safeties. 

He is a Baton Rouge native where he was a standout defensive back at Southern Lab before heading to Gramblong State University where he  was a 3 year starter at cornerback 2x 1st team Boxtorow All-American , 2x 1st team All-Swac , lead swac in interceptions and interceptions for touchdowns , blocked field goals and punts. 

Joe received his Bachelor degree from Grambling State University for Kinesiology in 2019
