Connor Loper enters his third season with the Jaguars, serving as Assistant Wide Receivers Coach / Recruiting Analyst for the Offense. His main responsibilities include film breakdown, creating opponent scouting reports, conducting in-season self-scouting, and coordinating the scout team defense.
Loper graduated from Louisiana State University in 2019 with a B.S. in Sport Administration and a Minor in Business. There he served as a student worker for the football team, first aiding with the equipment staff and later interning with Player Personnel.
In 2017 and 2018, Loper coached the Inside Receivers at University Lab High School on LSU’s campus where they celebrated a 26-0 record and two State Championships during that time span. “U-High” finished as the 13th ranked High School Football team in the Nation in 2018, and the #1 overall team in Louisiana, regardless of class, in 2017.
Loper started coaching immediately after he graduated from his former high school, Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA), assisting with the Offense during the 2015 and 2016 Off-seasons.
