Christopher Browne a 2012 Graduate and highly decorated offensive lineman returns to Southern University for his second season as the tight ends coach.
Browne was a three year team captain, three-time all SWAC selection and two-time All American while playing on the bluff. Â
Christopher began his coaching career spending two seasons as an offensive graduate assistant at Lincoln University (MO). He then was brought on the coaching staff at Jackson State University where he served as a graduate assistant/tight ends coach for a short stint. Â
Browne was then hired at Morehouse College as offensive line coach and run game coordinator where he produced three All-Conference Offensive lineman & one HBCU All-American Offensive Tackle in two seasons. Christopher most recently served as assistant offensive line coach at Louisiana Tech University.
He has a masters in Business Administration from Lincoln University and is also a member of the Eta Sigma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.Â
