Prior to Southern, Angelo attended Tuskegee University.
 
High School
Angelo attended Southern Laboratory High School where he was the most prolific quarterback in school history. After being named the starting QB his freshman year he closed his career with 10,877 passing yards with 124 passing touchdowns along with another 2087 rushing yards with 29 rushing touchdowns and only 17 interceptions in four years.  That type of career awarded him many accolades such as 4x All-State, 4x All-Metro, 4x All-District, 4x All-District MVP, 2021 State Champion, 2021 State Champion MVP, 2021 Warwick Dunn Winner and 2021 WAFB Player of the Year.

Angelo Izzard Jr. was born on January 8th in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is studying
Agricultural Business. Angelo is the son of Latoria and Angelo Izzard Sr. and his sisters are
Ty’reanna and Te’asia. He is related to Tyrone Hayes a University of Lafayette football alumni.
