2021 Season
Started in 44 out of 46 games played, Zavier averaged .288 batting with 42 hits, 31 RBI’s and 24 runs.

Started in all games played, 15-15, Zavier averaged .246 batting with 14 hits, eight RBI’s and eight runs.

Attended C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport, LA.
 
Personal
 Zavier Moore was born on July 28, 1999 in Shreveport, La and is the son of Tammy and Rickey Moore. His sister, Kassidy Moore also plays softball here at Southern and is also related to Athletic Director Roman Banks and family. Growing up, Zavier was a part of the Bandit Baseball and Team Easton travel teams. A senior majoring in Political Science and Psychology, he chose Southern because it “felt like a second home.” His favorite memory is when the Jaguars came back against Jackson State in the 2021 SWAC Tournament and became the SWAC Championship.
