Dylan Jones serves as a graduate assistant and first base coach for Southern University Baseball after returning to the program as a former Jaguar.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Jones attended Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School before earning a degree in Sociology from Southern University.

A former first baseman, he was a member of the Jaguars’ 2024 and 2025 teams. Following his playing career, Jones gained coaching experience working with an 11U team, focusing on player development and fundamentals. He also works with a sports and entertainment management company and brings a strong background in mentorship and player development to the Jaguars’ coaching staff.
