BATON ROUGE, La. — Southern University head softball coach Brittney Williams has announced the Lady Jaguars' 2026 schedule, highlighted by 19 home games at Jaguar Park.
 
Southern opens the season on the road at the Trojan Classic in Troy, Alabama, on February 7–8. The Lady Jaguars will face North Alabama and Middle Tennessee on Saturday before matching up with Chattanooga and host Troy on Sunday.
 
The following weekend, Southern travels to Covington, Georgia, for the Leonard Moody HBCU Invitational. The Lady Jaguars will take on Howard and Claflin on February 13, North Carolina A&T and Maryland Eastern Shore on February 14, and Virginia State on February 15.
 
Southern heads to Texas on February 20 for a doubleheader against Arlington Baptist before competing in a two-day tournament at East Texas A&M on February 21–22. On Saturday, the Lady Jaguars will face St. Thomas and SIUE, followed by matchups against North Texas and host East Texas A&M on Sunday.
 
The Lady Jaguars will close out the month of February by opening their home schedule on February 26 when Memphis visits Baton Rouge.
 
March begins with a home doubleheader against Dillard on March 3. SWAC play opens the following weekend as Southern travels to Prairie View (March 6–7), hosts Grambling (March 13–14), visits Arkansas–Pine Bluff (March 20–21), and welcomes Alcorn State for a home series on March 27–28. Southern will also host Xavier for a non-conference doubleheader on March 24.
 
In April, Southern will travel to Texas Southern (April 3–4) before returning home to host Arkansas–Pine Bluff (April 10–11). The Lady Jaguars will welcome LSU Alexandria for a doubleheader on April 15, travel to Grambling State (April 17–18), and close the regular season with Senior Weekend against Prairie View on April 24–25.
 
The 2026 SWAC Softball Tournament is scheduled for May 4–8 at the Gulfport Sportsplex in Gulfport, Mississippi.
