Jaguars Dominate Tigers with Statement Road Win

GRAMBLING, La. | Southern University men's basketball delivered a commanding performance Saturday afternoon, using relentless defense, balanced scoring, and transition offense to earn a 71-53 rivalry victory over Grambling State at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

The Jaguars (7–11, 3–2 SWAC) set the tone early and never looked back, building a 34-22 halftime lead before opening the second half with a decisive run to take full control of the contest. Southern's energy and execution on both ends fueled one of its most complete performances of conference play.

While Terrance Dixon Jr. added 10 points on a perfect 5-for-5 shooting. DaMariee Jones anchored the paint with nine rebounds, three blocks and relentless defensive effort.
