• Southern and Dillard closed the first inning tied two points each. The Jaguars picked up two more runs in the fourth inning and closing out the game on a winning note.

• Southern finished the day with six RBI's led by Jacoby Radcliffe with two.

• Malik Abdul pitched the final inning of the game sending two of the four batters seen to the dugout by way of strike out.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Southern and Dillard finished the day with eight hits each. 

• Southern committed one error on the day.

• Southern left five runners on base, while Dillard left six.

• Southern struck out seven times, while Dillard struck out twelve times.

• Cardell Thibodeaux picked up the Jags first run of the day off a line drive sone the right field line by Taj Bates. Sadir Ryan, Jacoby Radcliffe and Thibodeaux led the Jags on the day with two runs each. Jaylon Lucky finished with the final run of the day. 

• Seven different Jaguars batters recorded a hit. Cardell Thibodeaux led SU with two hits on the day.
