• Southern and Florida A&M went scoreless for the first three innings before FAMU scored the first run of the day. SU came out in the next three innings scoring 17 straight runs to run-rule the Rattlers after seven innings.  

• Southern finished the day with fifteen RBI's led by Jaylon Lucky.

• Rashard Grace pitched the final two innings of the game sending three of the eight batters seen to the dugout by way of strike out

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Southern finished the day with thirteen hits and Florida A&M finished with six hits.

• Florida A&M committed three errors on the day.

• Southern left four runners on base, while Florida A&M left ten.

• Southern struck out six times, while Florida A&M struck out ten times.

• Cardell Thibodeaux picked up the Jags first runs of the day off a pop fly to left field by Jalon Mack. Taj Bates, Edward Gregory Jr. and Dylan Jones finished the day with three runs each, while Xavier Bradley, Kameron Byrd and KJ White finished with two runs each on the day. Lucky and Thibodeaux added one run each.

• Eight different Jaguars batters recorded a hit. Byrd led SU with three hits each.

UP NEXT
The Jaguars will be back in action on this weekend for the Jags home opener against Saint Peters University. First pitch Friday night is 6 PM, Saturday 3 PM and Sunday at 1 PM. All games will be streamed live on Jaguar Sports Network.
