BATON ROUGE, La. – The Southern University volleyball team continued its midseason momentum with a dominant straight-set win over Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) on Tuesday night inside Seymour Gymnasium, 25-19, 25-14, 25-12.

The Jaguars (9-12, 4-3 SWAC) showcased balance and control throughout the night, hitting an efficient .352 as a team while holding the Knights to a .022 hitting percentage. The victory marked Southern's sixth in its last seven outings and extended its home winning streak to three.

Junior outside hitter
Ariana Brown paced the offense with eight kills on a .500 hitting clip, providing steady production from the left side.
Zaria Nelson added five kills and a pair of aces, while
Bailee St. Romain and
Sereniti Johnson chipped in seven and five kills, respectively, as the Jaguars dominated at the net.

Setter
Jordan Felix orchestrated the offense with precision, dishing out 35 assists and adding nine digs. The New Orleans native also contributed three service aces and a kill, guiding Southern to one of its most efficient offensive performances of the season.

Defensively,
Najah Harris and Johnson anchored the back row, combining for 13 digs to help the Jaguars outdig SUNO 44–37. Southern also recorded nine service aces and two team blocks, maintaining a steady rhythm in all phases.

SUNO (5-15) was led by Ja'Myra Tyler with eight kills, while Trinity Bloodworth tallied 11 assists and Cai Hales led the defense with nine digs.
