Southern Knocks off Louisiana Christian At Home

BATON ROUGE, LA – Southern University and Louisiana Christian battled back and forth for seventy-eight minutes before Tori Thomas found the back of the net to give the Jags their first win of the season. Final score was 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Jags and Wildcats went toe-to-toe for 78 minutes before the SU took a one-point lead. 
  • SU dominated the defensive side of the field to keep the Wildcats from scoring a goal.
  • The Jaguars had a 100 loyal fans to supports them in the rain on Friday evening.
