  • SU got off to a slow start offensively falling behind fast giving up four runs in the first three innings.
  • NSU scored five runs in the sixth inning to fully put the game out of reach for the Jaguars.
  • Grace pitched five innings seeing 18 batters throwing 90 pitches on the day.

  • NSU scored runs in multiple innings and was able to hold off the Jags comeback in the bottom of the ninth inning.
  • Lasseigne pitched five innings seeing 27 batters giving up ten hits and six runs.

  • Southern finished the night with seven hits and NSU finished the night with fifteen hits.
  • Southern and Nicholls finished the game with two errors each.
