BATON ROUGE, LA – Southern University fell behind early in the contest, but came back to pick up their first conference win of the season by knocking off Alabama A&M on Senior Day inside A.W. Mumford Stadium.
Final score was 2-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Jags and Trojans battled back-and-forth before scoring goals at the 38th and 73rd minute mark of the contest.
- SU fell early but battled back to pick up their first conference win of the season.
- Seniors Iyanla Bailey-Williams and Giftee Tor scored goals on senior day.
