HOW IT HAPPENED INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Jaguars went 30-of-55 shooting from the field (54.4 percent) and 1-of-6 from 3PT (16.7 percent).
- SU was led by Genovea Johnson (7-11 FG, 3-5 3PT) finished with a team-high 17 points on the day. 
-  Raven White (5-7 Ft, 3-5 3PT) added 12 points off a team-high 30 minutes of play, Tyeniesha Metcalf (3-5 FG, 5-6 FT) chipped in eleven points, while Chloe Fleming (5-7 FG, 0-2 FT) added 10 points on the night for the Jags.
- Nine Jaguars scored in the contest.
- ASU shot 25-of-57 from the field (43.9 percent) and 3-of-15 from 3PT (20.0 percent). 
- Southern pulled down 28 rebounds, including 22 on the defensive side of the glass.
- The Lady Hornets registered 34 rebounds, with 25 coming on the defensive end. 
- The Jaguars also went 14-for-24 from the free-throw line. The Lady Hornets sank 10-of-14 from the charity stripe.
- Southern University finished the night with eight steals and thirteen assists. Tyeniesha Metcalf and Chloe Fleming led the Jags with four assists on the night.
- Alabama State University came away with seven steals and thirteen assists.
