- SU was led by
Amani Mcwain (4-11 FG, 2-6 3PT) and Soniyah Reed (4-7 FG, 2-3 3PT) both finished with 11 points each.
- Chloe Fleming ( 3-5 FG, 1-2 FT), Tyeniesha Metcalf (2-4 FG, 3-4 FT) and Raven White (2-4 FG, 3-5 FT) chipped in seven points respectively.
- Twelve Jaguars scored in the contest
- MVSU shot 14-of-30 from the field (46.7 percent) and 4-of-11 from 3PT (36.4 percent).
- Southern pulled down 30 rebounds, including 15 on the defensive side of the glass.
- The Delta Devilettes registered 29 rebounds, with 24 coming on the defensive end.
- The Jaguars also went a season high 11-for-20 from the free-throw line.
- The Golden Lions sank 11-of-20 from the charity stripe.
- Southern University finished the night with eighteen steals and twelve assists.
- Mississippi Valley State University came away with four steals and ten assists.
