BATON ROUGE, LA -- On Wednesday Southerns' Pre-Season All American edge rusher Jordan Lewis  added another watch list under his belt being named to the 2023 Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List for the annual All-Star game in Mobile AL. 

The Reese's Senior Bowl selects elite draft prospects from around the country to showcase their talent and connect them with coaches and decision-makers from all 32 NFL teams. The event has been held annually since 1950. The next game will take place on February 4, 2023, at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Ala., and will be broadcast on the NFL Network. Practices will be live on ESPN, and NFL Network hosts a daily recap show each evening in primetime.

Lewis illustrious career at Southern has made him a household name among FCS football. With 11 regular season game left on the Bluff he's 10.5 sacks away from being the All-Time Sack leader in FCS history. Lewis has been the active FCS sack leader for two straight season with 34 sack. The former Buck Buchanan Award Winner and 2021 Mel Blount Defensive Player of the Year award winner is the active FCS leader in tackles for loss with 47.5 in three years. 

The selection is the seventh preseason honor for Lewis in 2022.
