HOW IT HAPPENED
SU 13 – FAMU 3
- The Lady Jaguar's scored five runs in the second inning to take an early 5-0 lead.
- FAMU would come back and score two runs in the second, making the score 5-2.

Paytin Mercado scored a run in the fifth by way of a fielder's choice by
Destiny Hernandez.
- Southern would go on to score three runs in the fifth inning stretching their lead to 9-2.
- The Rattlers would score one more run in the sixth, which turned out to be the final run of the game for FAMU.
- The Lady Jaguars scored four more runs in the seventh inning making the final score 13-3.
- The Lady Jaguars had 33 plate appearances with 12 hits and seven left on base.

The Lady Jaguars continue play in the conference tournament on tomorrow as they face the loser of the Prairie View A&M vs Bethune-Cookman contest. Tomorrow's game is set to start at 11:30 p.m.
