- The Wildcats score the game first points early in the first.
- The Lady Jaguar's would respond with a score of their own by way of

- BCU scored a run in the third and fourth to regain the lead, 3-2.
- Southern would go on to score the game's final three runs in the sixth to eliminate the number one seed in the tournament.

SU 3 – JSU 12
- The Lady Tigers scored eight runs in the first inning to take an early 8-0 lead.
