Cameron Andrews scored the first run of the game on a wild pitch in the second inning.
- The Lady Jaguars added three more runs in the third expanding the lead to 4-0.
- After no runs were scored in the fourth and fifth innings the Lady Jags added three more runs in the sixth.
- SU had 29 plate appearances with eight hits and three runners batted in.
SU 2 – JSU 3
- The Lady Jaguars had an 2-0 advantage stemming from runs scored in the third and fourth innings.
- SU was able to hold JSU to no points heading into the fifth.
- JSU scored three runs in the fifth to take a 3-2 lead.
