HOW IT HAPPENED
SU 3 – UTM 8
- Kameron Adkins scored the first run of the game on a single from
Mariyah Sandoval.
- UTM tied the game in the second with a solo home run, before the Lady Jags came back with a run of their own to make the score 2-1.
- UTM scored six straight runs between the third and fourth innings.
- One more run for SU was scored in the fifth, followed by the final run of the game scored by UTM in the sixth to make the final score 8-3.
- SU had 27 plate appearances with five hits and two runners batted in.
SU 0 – MVSU 5
- MVSU opened a 3-0 lead in the first.
- The Devilettes continued their scoring with runs in the second and sixth making the score 5-0.
- The Lady Jaguars were unable to score any runs despite getting five hits and leaving six stranded on base.
- SU had 24 plate appearances with five strikeouts and one walk.
