Southern Falls To Wichita State On The Road

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Jaguars went 15-of-57 shooting from the field (26.3 percent) and 8-of-26 from 3PT (30.8 percent).
- SU was led by Johnson (411 FG, 1-1 3PT) who finished with 10 points and Amani Mcwain  (3-8 FG, 3-8 3PT) added 9 points.
- Soniyah Reed (2-3 FG, 2-2 3PT) chipped in six points and Raven White (2-3 FG, 1-2 FT) finished the night with five points. 
- Nine Jaguars scored in the contest
- Wichita State shot 24-of-44 from the field (54.5 percent) and 2-of-9 from 3PT (22.2 percent). 
- Southern pulled down 22 rebounds, including 16 on the defensive side of the glass.
- Wichita State registered 40 rebounds, with 34 coming on the defensive end. 
- The Jaguars also went 4-for-10 from the free-throw line.
- The Shockers sank 22-of-32 from the charity stripe.
- Southern University finished the night with four steals and twelve assists led by Taylor Williams with four assists.
- Wichita State University came away with four steals and fourteen assists.
